Creative DNA: AFRICA Much the Same

Creative DNA: Africa 

An event to promote cross collaboration and cultural exchange between the 7 designers visiting from SSA and UK emerging designers. During the event the designers will have an opportunity to network and discuss similarities and differences, the power of collaboration and learning from each-other as well as the impact they each make on their respective creative ecosystem and their community.

Chaired by Natalie Worgs, Founder of Girls About Peckham and Martyn Roberts, Founder and Creative Director, Fashion Scout the seven innovative designers, visiting UK from seven countries: Ethiopia, Ghana, Kenya, Senegal, South Africa, Uganda, and Zimbabwe will have the opportunity to join a round table discussion with UK based creatives.

Alongside the discussion Ellen Rock, the Artist Host on the programme and textiles and print designer herself, will introduce a printing activity, an activation which amplifies the topics discussed through a printed word to take home - an exchange of thoughts and ideas.
